It goes to show you can’t take someone else’s words for it; see it for yourself and the world changes in front of your eyes. The reviews here are mostly negative and I wonder if it’s because good experiences are often overlooked. I was pleasantly surprised by the amenities available and cleanliness of the room with kitchenette I stayed in. It was kept warm by electric baseboard heaters in every room, in addition to a space heater available, while the road noise takes some to get used to, the convenience is the trade off. It is a good idea to keep the windows locked when not in use for a peace of mind. I can’t comment on the friendliness of the staff as it was minimal interaction in my case. However the housekeeping crew I briefly encountered at the one end of the facility were friendly and welcoming. Really enjoyed my stay here! The location is so central and the staff really goes the extra mile to help you. They had great recommendations for my stay in the city and were very accommodating to any requests I made.

I can’t say I had no issues at all. My door stopped working a few times but I don’t think that was anybody’s fault. The floor itself was quite loud, walls are def not soundproof and they could use an upgrade on their windows (for proper insulation). Besides that, room was clean, staff was super friendly and accommodating! Loved the housekeeping girls! They are the reason for my 5 stars (otherwise, I’d give this a 4 star). So lovely and sweet. Anytime I requested for something, they obliged (which I know is part of their job but anyways). My stay there was great! And for only $45/night! I thought t’was worth it. If I ever need to stay at a hotel again in Calgary, I would consider this place. Def not for luxury though. This is not a place you want to stay at for luxury! You get what you pay for! Cheers
