Best Western Plus Port O'Call Hotel: what do users think?

BARRY LEESON: Centrally located, so made it easy to connect with freeway to view the city sights.

mallikarjun reddy: I stayed in this hotel for 5 days, and if you are traveling here on work trip and plan on working from hotel, then this is not the place.Worst wifi ever it drops every 20 min and very slow speed.Noteworthy details: Nothing

Chrystal Maude: The four of us stayed one night for a staycation with the family and it was a blast. They accommodated our early check in. Parking kind of sucks, there is a parade but when I pulled up and used the key it didn't open so I don't know if they let guests have access to the parade. We booked a two bedroom but received a one bedroom with a couch but thankfully it was a pull out couch so we didn't have to go back down with all our luggage. We stayed on a Sunday and didn't realize the restaurant wasn't open so that was a bummer, Instead we ordered room service. The menu is very limited on Sundays but the steak sandwich was super delicious. The pools were the best part! The main pool was quite chilly so we hung out in the toddler pool. The bed and sheets were comfortable but our room was too hot and the temperature control would not go up or down, but we did turn on the fan. In the morning there was a buffet, pretty standard. Although we had an older waitress that was so great with the kids and really made sure we had everything we needed.Overall, pretty good stay. We will be back for another staycation.

Hotel Fairmont Palliser: what do users think?

Bryanne Giroux: My husband & I got married at the Palliser last weekend and we had an incredible experience to say the least. The planning process leading up was very detail oriented and we could tell that this was not Nicoles first time planning a big event. In fact, we believe that she has perfected her job. There wasn't one moment where I felt worried about how our wedding day was going to end up. At the Palliser, they think of everything and do what they can to make your experience the best. We were treated so well the entire time. On the weekend of our wedding the way our room was set up was above and beyond. Everything was clean and the space felt like home. The food is always incredible too. We cannot wait to go back to the Palliser to enjoy another stay. We definitely recommend not only getting married at the Palliser but even just spending a weekend there to enjoy the luxurious hotel.

Harold: Odadaki yatak yumuşaktı. İçine battım.Kral boyutundaydı, nedeni bu olabilir.Dolaşmak için iyi konum. McMahon Stadyumu yakındadır.Bulduğum tek sorun, check-out sırasında makbuz verilmemesi. Şu anda kartımda açıklanmayan ekstra bir ücret görüyorumYürüme olanakları: Kahvaltı için yürüme mesafesinde 2 harika restoran.

Richard Coffey: You are getting what you pay for but for the price it’s a pretty solid budget hotel.Pro- Room is surprisingly large- bed is comfortable- Old but well taken care of property- Continental breakfast is nothing to write home about but for an economy hotel is pretty decent- access up the road to the CTrainCons- after 11pm have to use keycard to get in the front door, system locked me out multiple times- TV picture quality is very poor- walls are pretty thinNowhere near the best hotel on the strip but overall especially for the price it’s good.

Sherif Morsy: This is my second time staying at this place and it never disappoints me. Me, my wife and my baby had a great experience as expected. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The receptionist Vlad was very handful and went above and beyond to help me out when my vehicle’s battery didn’t work! He’s really amazing! I’ll always stay at Royal hotel everytime i visit calgary! Thanks to the lovely staff and to Vlad!Nearby activities: It’s very close to everywhere in town.

Melissa Lunt: Great Place, Friendly Staff, Clean And Tidy.Rooms: Nice clean roomsNearby activities: There's the pure casino 5 minutes away

Сергей Росамаха: Very nice hotel! Spacious rooms, clean and light. The staff is pleasant to communicate with, always ready to help and suggest what is needed. The city center is 35 minutes by public transport, 15 minutes by taxi.Definitely recommend!

Sheraton Cavalier Calgary Hotel: what do users think?

GXM: Upgraded room was not ready at check in but George handled it smoothly. Thank you.Great facilities and location. Comfortable with a nice lounge. Worth the short drive to get out of the direct airport pricing.Kids will love the Waterpark.

Diana L: This hotel felt more like a 3 star hotel in comparison to other 4 star hotels in the Calgary and area, but for the hotel rate - Sheraton Cavalier is a great family hotel in the Calgary Area.A few guest service agents made it a positive experience - in particular, Navin was kind and acknowledged our membership status and upgraded our room. Our suite was spacious and made our stay quite comfortable. We had gotten a cot for our kids and worth the extra $15. The bed and sheets where clean and comfortable. The bathroom was large and the extra large tub a bonus for baths.Their concierge club room was nice and had enough seating area. The balcony with views of Calgary Downtown with the Mountains as a backdrop was great. They offered self serve coffee, drinks and some snacks.Their pool/waterpark area was a hit with the family. It is a bit dated but well staffed and clean. They provided towels and served snacks and drinks which made the ambiance quite relaxed and fun. One of the slides was not working but the kids did not mind. There was a lifeguard present and monitored the area closely. 2 hot tubs were nice as guests can space themselves out.Breakfast in the morning was fun for the kids - buffet style but may not be worth it if paying out of pocket as there are many other options for breakfast in the area. There was ample parking and the hotel is close to amenities and downtown.

Gaye Saruwatari: to Colors to the cleaning and maintenance staff, everyone strives to make the experience enjoyable with friendly smiles and great service. Highly recommend!

Jenna Doll: My family and I loved our stay here. Our room was clean. Front desk staff were accommodating and kind. Staff in the pool were friendly. Kids loved going to the pool few times daily. One of the slides has been out of order for quite some time. We loved dining at Colors Bistro. Did not have great experiences at Barlows lounge. Long waits at elevators, 1 out of 3 is shutdown. Overall our stay was very kid friendly, clean, fun.

Winston Tuttle: Cool hotel, if you dig the retro vibe. Flight crews and sports teams abound.Staff and management are great, especially the fully-suited gentleman who assisted us at front desk, a true professional. My issue is with ownership. Why decommssion so many parts of your hotel? Locked sauna. Lower Waterslide "under maintenance " for months or years on end. Elevators operating at less than full capacity. As a guest, it would be so reassuring to see ownership demonstrate some pride and rehabilitate/operate their property to full potential. All told, we had fun here, but it could be so much more.

Raman Grover: Rooms: It’s budget friendly hotelHotel highlights Great value …

Kyle Gillam: My girlfriend and I stay here weekly. I'm afraid to say how great of value this place is because they might start raising the prices haha. We have been here at least 6 times. Price is unreal. The pub attached to it is perfect. The food is amazing and very well priced. The hockey game is always on. Service is excellent. The ladies who work the lounge are always wonderful. We can't help but always stay here. Value is where it is at! Lasagna is delicious

Ziad ashami: New management

M. Meh: Before I book in this Hotel, I read almost all reviews, some weren't good at all, some times could be guest expecting too much or has issue him/her self or could be competitors. I booked for almost for a week, as soon as I arrived welcome was very good and friendly, room was clean and everything was ok, of course didn't have cosmetic or fancy work, but room was really clean. I have been in very luxury Hotels, I didn't see huge difference between this Hotel and others so called luxury, but no fency staging. Lots of free parking Fridays,Saturdays,Sundays packed, but still have lots of parking spaces. They had huge Resturant, but it was empty, so when any Resturant is usually empty regardless of name and stage, a little scary, Wendy's was close by I used wendy's or some times McDonald's.In conclusion I was happy and next time I am going to book in Hotel as wellM.MRooms: My room was great, of course didn't have cosmetic work of fake staging, Curtains wasn't great, or rod looks like had rust, but it make difference to me, room, bed, sheets and others were cleanSafety: In my view it was safe, area they said not great, but I personally didn't see any issue, but area wasn't as reach as let say SW or NW for example sprucewoods or similar areas, smart businesses usually use cheap areas because of low costs, I would do the sameWalkability: Walking distance almost everywhere

Chahat Rani: 1. "My stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The hotel's attention to detail, from the elegant decor to the thoughtful amenities, made me feel pampered throughout my entire visit. The staff was incredibly courteous and went out of their way to ensure I had a memorable experience. I especially loved the delicious dining options available on-site. I can't wait j

Daryll O'Keefe: Excellent value. I stay all over Canada in hotels weekly. From 5 star to 3 star depending on red and availability. The value from this weeks stay at The Acclaim was over the top. Very nice room. Nice staff. The kicker for me was the newly renovated exercise room. First class, among the best I’ve seen anywhere.Well done Acclaim! The effort and expense put into that room has won you a fan!!

Todd Thompson: is also appreciated. The added complimentary breakfast we received is also a nice touch. The room we had was nicely appointed, and the rate paid was reasonable.

Mike Penney: Great place to stay when flying from Calgary. Comfortable clean and modern! Friendly staff!Rooms: Modern and Clean rooms!

M. Bezak: I booked this hotel from Croatia, EU, few months in advance and was told that I can use my Visa Debit card for reservation/deposit/final payment. During the day of my arrival, when I was in the middle of the flight, I was notified by e-mail that the debit card with wich I made reservation was declined and that I need to presend another form of payment by 3 PM local time, otherwise my reservation will be cancelled. Only luckily I was able to arrive at check in at 3.30 PM. Reception worker than swiped my debit card through terminal, saw that there are sufficiend funds on it for deposit+room, and everything was OK. I would like to know why my card was declined, as it caused some stress and inconvinience during the time of my arrival - there were sufficient funds on it and I was able to use it on every point of sale during my visit to Calgary. I also activated it for international purpose in agreement with my bank and set spending limits. Contrary to what I saw on reviews, hotel was actually in very good shape, room and hallways were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was more than satisfactory. Location was great, just near the tram stop. Reception staff was great, especially mr. Kumar who was always nice and helpful. Housekeeping was also excellent. I would definitely stay here again, but my check in experience mentioned above doesn't let me t give 5 star review. Sincerely, D. Bezak.

Dana Cardinal: Had no problems, needed a room last minute and the front desk lady was asking when I checked in! Needed a second night last minute and they had no issues helping me!!! Location is amazing !! There's a Denny's in the same parking lot and a mc Donald's across the stress all within less of 5 mins or walking ! You can beat there price either !! The place I will be now staying when I come to CalgaryNearby activities: eatinFood & drinks: Denny's close by and MC Donald's and the liquor store

John Doe: Solid little spot. The continental breakfast is solid, and the staff were always helpful. The building and rooms are quite dated, though. It could definitely use a face-lift.Excellent for the price.

Sara Thompson: . It also seems not a single door inside the room closed fully… Side note: The body wash they provide SMELLS AMAZING! We were on the top floor and the room was HOT even with the window open. We asked for a fan the second night and that made a huge difference! Overall I would definitely stay here again :

Alison: What an amazing hotel! From arrival to checkout the entire experience was fantastic. Front desk agents were kind and extremely helpful, the rooms were spacious and we enjoyed their rooftop hot tub a lot. The building was taken care of, and the rooms were immaculate. Their restaurant has the best food, our waitress Mary was so sweet and very efficient. Lastly, the hotel offers a shuttle service to the airport and back which is SO helpful- our driver Lucky was phenomenal, he was kind, funny and provided excellent service.

Cliff Pybus: Recently I stayed with my family at the hotel prior to an early morning flight.Check-in was efficient and I was impressed by how well-kept the hotel was. You can tell that the hotel has a very strong maintenance department as there were no deficiencies observed- which is rare. The rooms were comfortable, modern, and best of all there was very little noise that was heard from the halls. We especially enjoyed watching the sunset from the rooftop patio with the little ones.In the very early morning, Lucky was very helpful in getting us to our flight with the shuttle. He loaded and unloaded our bags and offered water, all while maintaining a friendly presence. We will definitely return when faced with an early morning flight.

Leslie Jackson-Olson: The rooms were nice and clean, updated and bed was comfortable. The only negative is the bedding is just a duvet, would have liked top sheet or lighter blanket, but thats just my sleep preference. We stayed at the Clique the night we left before our vacation. We utilized the park and ride option from the hotel, the shuttle was on time and Lucky was the driver, friendly and helpful.

Deanna Mcfarlane: Great place to stay before a flight!Great service! Nice Rooftop pool and great restaurant! The Airport shuttle driver, Lucky was AMAZING!Thank you Luck for an enjoyable morning.

Deirdre A-O: , teas, boiled eggs, assorted breads/pastries, juices, waffles, cereals, yogurts. Good Wyndham benefits when you join their program. The people, it must be reiterated, who work in this hotel were/are the reason I'll return along with the reasonable rates, perks, location and cleanliness. Thank you to everyone in this establishment.

Randi Fairman: and very quiet. Breakfast was pretty decent and there was tons of parking. I'd absolutely book here again. The staff I dealt with were 10/10

Oleh Demchenko: This is one of the best Days Inn hotels I've ever stayed. Exceptional reception and customer service, clean updated room and comfy beds. Quiet AC which is important. Plenty of parking, some covered. Good selection of TV channels, good stable Wi-Fi internet. Nice breakfast with small selection, but very good quality and good coffee. I would definitely consider it again for the next visit.

Kuan-Ling Lu: Husband and I drove from Red Deer just for their Sunday brunch buffet. We loved the selection and the quality of the food. The price was great too at $35 per person with coffee and orange juice included.Their dessert selection was impressive - there was a dessert table with selections like double chocolate mousse, mango panna cotta, orange custard, raspberry mousse cake, chocolate cheesecake, lemon meringue tarts etc. There's also a chocolate fountain.Great choice of savory foods too including an omelette station. Serve was very attentive, our drinks were constantly topped up and plates cleared immediately.I think we've found our go-to buffet place! Highly recommend!

Jeff Quinlan: . The hotel experiencewas overall good. They have friendly staff and we were travelling with our small dogs and felt very welcome. Some hotels put you in the scuzziest rooms when you have a dog and frankly I don't blame them, really. These guys didn't do that, our room was great and our dogs behaved well. The Good:Great location, nice rooms that are very clean, and the breakfast is above what I would have normally expected. The adjoining pub

Chris: , as were the pancakes. The hash browns were crunchy and tasty. Highly recommend this hotel.

Sue H (Suzy ESUA): and newer exercise equipment was incredible and that's what sets this hotel apart from all the others as a frequent traveller. Wow, wow, and wow guys!
