Cherish Cove: After hearing so many wonderful things about this shop, we had a few creative projects that were on our list of things to do and we were looking for a specialty art supply store with specific products. We needed different sized canvases, acrylic paints, acrylic glaze mediums and specialty brushes that you can only find at an art supply store. We were greeted by wonderful friendly staff that were very helpful in finding everything we were looking for, a real one-stop-shop for all your creative needs!!! Another great experience was when we went to pay for everything, the person at the cash welcomed a couple with a dog that came in to shop looking for watercolour paints and paper. The shop was so alive with a beautiful community feeling of belonging and we left feeling so full of inspiration. We loved our experience so much we ended up staying in the area to do a little more shopping, then stopped for coffee and that led to dinner in the neighbourhood at a cozy local restaurant!!! Can’t wait when inspiration hits again to do it all over again. Love the art shop, excellent staff and the neighbour hood is such a bonus!!!

Linda Fundytus: The best art supply and MORE store !! It’s like being part of a family whether you shop for supplies, ask for advice, sign up for courses, etc. the staff are there to help and are very knowledgeable re their products and art in general. Doug himself is larger than life! The products sold here are generally the same ones used by instructors teaching courses- either local or international so no need to shop all over . If they dont have the product- they will come up with a solution. It’s a well run , diverse family business in which their focus is art for all!

And if they don't have your favorite brand they've probably got an alternative.Plenty of new tools and materials to work with and there's a nice mix of cheaper and higher quality alternatives if you're on a budget!

Mary Sanders MacFadyen: Chuck full of card making and scrapbooking goodies. A paper crafters dream. The staff are amazingly helpful and kind. It is a tiny store that is hard to find; best approached from the south as it can be tricky to maneuver the convoluted street directions around that particular intersection and shopping complex.They post a live Facebook update of new products arriving everyday at 3:00pm MST.I find they have a very comprehensive collection of manufactures and are most willing to order in anything you may need that they don't have at the moment.Let me say it again, their staff are amazing.

It's a quick side detour off Edmonton Trail, and we'll Wirth the visit with friendly and knowledgeable staff. The gentleman who helped me knew exactly where to find what I needed.

Next time! If you love paper crafting, this is the place to be. There's also on-line shopping available but do visit the store and see what I mean.They have card classes also. I appreciate their Reward plan. Great Customer Service!

sheldon thomas: I came in looking for basic materials to get started with drawing again. The gentleman was very kind and helped me find everything I needed. He guided me around the store explaining each item and asking me questions to determine what would be best.He also informed me which materials would be helpful in the future when my skills improve and I need more tools to help. Overall I felt very good about my experience here, I learned a ton, and they have a new returning customer
Sandra Anderson: Destination Art is a hidden gem. Mo and the staff are friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. For a small location, there is a decent selection of art supplies available. A favorite place to stop in and see what I should add to my collection for my artistic endeavors.

Taylor Olson: Wonderful local art store in the NW. Tons of brands, very helpful staff, and teacher discounts. Pricing is often way better than Michaels and they have monthly specials. Don't be decieved by the tiny, tucked away exterior...this store is loaded with goodies!I taught a free virtual painting course during the COVID lockdown, and the owner offered to help curate art packages and give student discounts w/ free delivery for orders $50. I was touched by his generosity, given it was tough times all around. I am thrilled their business has survived, and plan to support it for many years to come.Keep up the good work!

She constantly steers me in the right direction in terms of products and techniques for my projects, which has been invaluable to me on this journey of learning leatherwork. I can't say enough great things about her and the store.
