THE BACKLOT BAR has been LGBTQ2S bar in existence since 1996. That’s when Ken Schultz, a co-founder and owner, as well as a great friend decided to sell the Backlot. Knowing the bar was in good hands, he was able to move on to other business ventures. Mark has worked hard to carry on the legacy of community support, inclusiveness and a warm environment with plenty of laughs, that “Schultzy” so dearly cultivated in this unique space.
