The landlords have decided to sell our building. That is obviously their prerogative. I have no idea who will buy it but I do know that we cannot afford it. New owners may decide to tear it down to build more condos because heaven knows Inglewood needs more condos. Regardless, our original landlords were going to do that eventually anyway. We are hoping for landlords that might actually care a little about The Blues Can while we all wait for the economy to recover. Our fingers are crossed. Nobody has come to talk to us yet but eventually they will and we can then let everyone else know what the future holds for our favorite live music venue. In the meantime it is business as usual. No need to panic as the rumors of our demise are greatly exaggerated. We'll see you all soon.
