4worldlovers: Welcome to Free Spirit Dance, a dance and fitness studio just for adults. A place where everyone is welcome, free to express themselves and free to live life out loud and proud! I didn’t start dance until my early 20s. I am a bit of an anomaly in the dance community as most professional dancers start when they are very young. I wanted to create a safe space specifically for adults based on my own dance and fitness journey. Maybe you have never danced before and you have always wanted to try, perhaps you want to stay in shape doing something that is fun, or maybe you danced when you were young and now you just want to experience the joy of movement again. At Free Spirit we foster an inclusive community where you can feel free to explore without judgment. It’s good to try new things because you never know what new and exciting things you might find out about yourself. I never knew that one dance class in Cuba over 20 years ago would lead into a passion that is now my career. I also wanted to create a space where you can experience workouts that are fun! Dance is fun! Fitness is fun!

Free Spirit Dance was named not only to represent my own journey of finding freedom to break free and become what I was called to be, but it was also named to inspire others to do the same! It’s about finding freedom from within ourselves. I am a living example that is never too late to be what you might have been! What I love most about movement is that it is just good food for the soul! It makes you feel alive!

I am so excited to invite you to wrap up the dancing year, see how much we have learnt, celebrate how far we have gone and perform at our year-end concert on June 24!

Each group will have an opportunity to perform for our friendly and supportive audience, and the participation is totally voluntary!The registration is open!

Private dance classes are for students who desire more individual attention, they provide a unique opportunity to learn one on one and are meant for students that wish to develop their dancing skills at a faster rate. You will spend the time necessary on technique and styling. At the same time you will continue to develop your ability to lead or follow.


Group Dance Classes provide you with the opportunity to meet other students with similar dancing needs.


Group dance classes are a necessary part of instruction as you'll find them helpful to your continued progress.


Singles or couples welcome. If you don't have a partner, we'll do our best to find a single person to dance with you with similar dancing needs.
