Our original Beltline breakfast club is located along the southwest corner of Downtown Calgary on 10th Ave SW right across from Community Natural Foods. Upon coming here, you can enjoy a hearty breakfast in one of Calgary’s oldest heritage buildings! The building’s unique red brick character and artsy surrounds will have you feeling warm & right at home. We are excited to share our building with the Banbury Lane Design Center, one of Calgary’s premier home hardware boutiques.

Having been consistently voted the best neighbourhood in Calgary, the Beltline hub boasts numerous artisan boutiques, specialist local supermarkets as well as trendy cafes, bars & restaurants. In addition, the community is just a few blocks away from the trendy Kensington district located just across the Bow River.

Despite being at the periphery of downtown Calgary, parking is surprisingly easy to find here! Public parking is available throughout 10th avenue and 12 street SW at modest rates of $1.50 per hour on weekdays and just $0.50 per hour on Saturdays! Furthermore, unrestricted FREE parking is available just a few blocks away on 14th avenue SW.

If you didn’t know, we have bike racks located right in front of our establishment on 10th Avenue SW! Monki loves cyclists!

Our Beltline-Calgary breakfast club was showcased on Food Network Canada’s Big Food Bucket List on Season 1 Episode 8 ‘For the Love of Brunch’. Being small albeit incredibly cozy, the breakfast club does tend to have a wait on the weekends. However, you can skip the wait & ‘Get in Line’ virtually on your phone. We will then simply notify you on when to make your way! We aren’t accepting reservations right now due to our limited seating but we do have our large,spacious&kid friendly Inglewood location!

Nice ambiance, good coffee, food was not bad too. Kinda disappointed by menu options, everything looked pretty much same, sweet waffles and eggs with potatoes.

Really great food at a reasonable price. Service is great, had the perogies and they were delicious.

We went to Monki and were delighted with the quality of the food and the service. It was the first day of the season for the patio, and it filled up quickly. Our server, Olivia, did a fantastic job handling the surge of people and created a great atmosphere for everyone. She was knowledgeable and friendly.The food is consistently incredible here, so if you haven't tried it yet, now is the time. Absolutely 10 out of 10.

All the food we had was delicious and great portions. Staff is really friendly and good service.

Was my first time here, was such a nice enviroment, delicious and fast food, like actually incredibly yummy, and our server emily was super nice and considerate. Will definitely be back you should come here too

Monki bistro was very accomodating to our party of 4 adults and 2 kids(5 and 3yo).They don't do reservations, but do wait lists day of, so, being a larger size party, we called it in. Unfortunately, the other couple we were with were involved in a small collision and were about 20 mins late. Monki was still very patient with us despite this.The food was fantastic. The reverse French toast was amazing. If you have a bit of a sweet tooth, this is perfect! The others ordered the brisket hash, and they said it was delicious.

If your ever having trouble deciding between another breakfast/brunch spot and Monki you better be choosing Monki. I’ve had some really great breakfast at restaurants all across Canada, and Monki by far has become my #1 spot.
