Veronica Jack-Downs: Beautiful scenery and nice walk

junhong cai: The Inglewood Bird Sanctuary is a wonderful urban escape! It's an island of wetland park right within Calgary, where you can connect with wildlife and nature. I went bird-watching and relaxing. There are plenty of picnic tables outside sanctuary. Also, there is a biking path connected to downtown for exploring different experiences.

Laura Bergum: This place is amazing. So beautiful and peaceful! I lost count on how many times the birds would come and sit on my hand, they just followed me around the whole time I was in the park, such a magical experience. Saw five deer just laying in the grass sunbathing, they were just feet away from us. This is a definite must go if you’re a nature person.Restrooms: Port o potties.Picnic area: Lots of benches and seating areas.

Sam (Sam): Went there around 9 am on a Sunday. Found a parking spot easily.Great views .. it was a sunny day and I could see the mountains far away. Since I had gone early there weren’t many people around. It was very peaceful and I could hear all the nature sounds. It was a bit windy. An idyllic morning with sounds of the trees gently swaying in the wind, birds chirping and the sound of water gently flowing along.

Carburn Park: what do users think?

muhammad farhan: Great place to visit

Swetang Desai: Good park. We did hike from Carburn park to Beaver dam flats and it's very scenic. The whole hike is paved so strollers would work too.

Shelbie Lazell: Beautiful little park in the south east of the city's. Have a bit of construction going on at the moment, with the temporary closure of the dock. But still so many nice walking trails

Dana S: Can be a bit busy but we usually go outside of busy hours.Nice stable pathways, a couple of bodies of water and close to the Bow River.Restrooms: Washrooms on the back side of the main 'Parks' building.Picnic area: Picnic area with some cookout stoves.

Jason Brown: Cool place to go for a walk or picnic. If your looking for birds though dont go mid day. Morning or evening is best.

Bharat Shah: The park, established 38 years ago, has two lakes or huge ponds, created by channelizing the Bow River, wrapped by a paved trail. There is a forest with thousands of trees all along the trail. There are tens of benches all along the trail, picnic tables at some places, and a gazebo. Also, there are some other unpaved and winding trails and beaten paths, for those who like to explore more. Furthermore, there are Bow River Pathway and Trans Canada trail. The parking lot is not immense; nevertheless, on a busy day. you may park your vehicle on the nearby streets, for free.Over all, this is a well-maintained, good natural park for the dwellers of south east area of Calgary for a variety of activities, watching birds, and wildlife.Playground: There is no playground.Restrooms: There are seasonal washrooms and some porta-potties.Dog-friendliness: Dogs are allowed if they are leashed.Picnic area: There are many picnic tables overlooking the lake.

CRAIG GERLITZ: I live nearby and love to go to this natural park. It has a fireplace and lots of tables and benches. Beautiful place.

Jake Bogaard: One of calgarys best parks. Can hand feed chickadees and woodpeckers here. See deer all around.

Sara Saeedi: One of the best spots for photography in Calgary! So beautiful, not that crowded and close to the river.

Rosanna Lenz: Beautiful park

Catherine Franssens: Great place for a stroll and some bird watching

Refined Acctg: Paved and relaxing

Calugar Mircea: Very nice and clean park

Dmytro Nesmyeyanov: A beautiful oasis in the heart of the city.

Sierrah Sharpe: Beautiful spot where you almost forget you're in Calgary. Great trails. My favorite new spot for a walk.

Dale Scott: Great winter cycling!

Ryan Seibel: Amazing park, not off leash, feels like you are out of the city. Wheelchair accessible, and family friendly. Griffith has a public washroom, not during the winter though, and picnic tables in a few spots around the park.

Adam Flewe: Great nature walk, not too busy. Bathroom near parking lot is only available at certain times during the season. Be warned there are many many dogs walked on these paths, so you may not see too many wild animals around aside from the odd angry squirrel. Many different paths to take, beautiful along the river.

Richard: Meh it’s alrightBut very beautiful

Canuck Fan: The nature trails are awesome, well maintained. No wildlife seen on our visit, but definitely in the past. The water is crystal clear in the beaver ponds.Really enjoyed this space.Accessible, and family friendly bathrooms at main lot.

Shaw’s Meadow - Fish Creek Provincial Park: what do users think?

Nikkita Tretick: Боже мой, просто лучший провинциальный парк во всей Канаде. Обожаю тропы и пейзажи

Geoff Fraser: Отличный уголок природы в пригороде. Множество пешеходных/велосипедных дорожек и множество вещей, где можно понюхать и пописать. Держите глаза открытыми на .

Sammy G: Красивая часть Фиш-Крик, очень тихо.

Tim MacRae: Неплохо бы было немного лучше добраться до тропы через ручей.

Lee Lewis: Nice place to go for a hike. Lots of wildlife and great views

CJ: Very close to public washrooms and parking lot. Has picnic tables and close to the creek and beaver dams. The main path goes on West to Bebo and west towards Glennfield which is a few kilometers away. There is another public washroom about few hundred feet from the Voltair parking lot. Also some single track trails to hike or bike in the area.

Dr. Marco Navarro-Genie: This is not a part of the park that we had explored before, and we happened on it by accident. The southern slopes are fully treed and the boreal forest is home to a few creatures, from squirrels to a significant hawk's nest with some young ones flying around, training their wings doing some tree hoping. It also looks like the setting of some mischief. Fires have been attempted on a couple of trees in the area, posing some arsonist danger to the houses nearby, should they ever succeed. At the bottom of the slope, the creek flows nicely. A few deeper pools might have dish in them. That remains yo be explored.

Joseph Skinner: Good for walking

Robert Lambert: Leave it too,

Sean Weber: Fantastic network of paths crisscross the park with abundant sitting areas and learning opportunities. Things to do vary based on the season so it would be wise to check the official website to make sure you can get the most out of a trip. No parking per-se so if you plan on driving, you're most likely looking at downtown parking. If you're local to the park there are several options to get there by pathway and a bridge over the Bow River.Restrooms: Seasonal only.Dog-friendliness: On leash areas only but lots of trails and natural areas for dogs to explore.Picnic area: You can basically set up a blanket and picnic anywhere you like.

Tons of activities in all seasons. Definitely recommend checking out this NW Calgary park.Playground: Several playgrounds to chose from.Restrooms: Public facilities available outside the winter months.Dog-friendliness: Believe it's an on leash area but lots of trails and natural space for dogs.Picnic area: Several reserve-able picnic areas to chose from.

It's a great park for large games of capture the flag or a little game of bocce. In the summer it is a very popular park for launching boats into the river so be sure to arrive early to ensure you can find parking.
