My son is very small, only 10 months old when the program started, but he enjoyed playing the instruments along with Miss Kassandra's singing and games. Each class followed a similar plan so that babies knew what to expect, but the actual songs were varied enough that it kept kids entertained. It was a wonderful exposure into music lessons for my little one, and we hope that we will be able to return next summer!

Irene’s warm and thorough customer service opened our eyes to the excellent value of the pre-owned pianos available. As we continued looking elsewhere over the next week, the up-to-date inventory shown online, with pricing that matched the showroom, helped us contemplate our options. When we circled back on our 2nd visit, even though we were almost set on the piano that we ended up buying, the frank and straightforward advice of Matthew completely sold us. Having the opportunity to consider some of the minor "wear and tear" of the 30 year old piano before purchasing potentially saved us some remorse had we been left to discover them once the piano was in our home. Musee Kawa: I moved to Calgary a few years ago, and have tried a couple music studios until I found Imagine Music. It's been a very good experience working with the owner Jennifer on finding the right teacher for my kids. Jennifer is responsive and very knowledgeable in the area of music education. Their recitals are well organized, and I like their newsletters for keeping students up-to-date on important dates and opportunities coming up.My kids are currently taking piano lessons with Kathy, and she is dedicated, pleasant and attentive to their musical development. My kids have different personalities and learning styles, and Kathy was able to use different methods creatively to tailor to their learning needs. My older one has just completed an RCM piano exam, and Kathy would often provide suggestions on how to practice effectively to achieve this. She communicates well and would provide me with regular updates on the progress of my kids, so that I know how to support them outside of their lesson time. I highly recommend Kathy as a piano teacher.

Fall 2023, he will be taking in-person lessons with her.It's obvious that she cares about developing my son's love for music. When my son mentioned that he was nervous playing in front of an audience, she gave him tips on how to calm his nerves.Her lessons are well thought out, and it's obvious she's thought about her lesson plan in advance. She's able to challenge my son without discouraging him. She always asks my son whether he wants to participate in exams, recitals, and competitions.At the beginning of each lesson, she always asks my son what song my son thinks he needs the most help.. She also asks for his input on what songs he'd like to learn.She has the ability to explain concepts in a way he's able to understand. When my son finds something difficult, she's given him tips on how to practice. By the next lesson, he's improved significantly. This has helped with his confidence. He gets really excited when he hears the improvement.Her lesson plans include theory and history. She also taught him improv. She patiently taught him how to play jazz songs even though it was difficult for him to swing the eighth notes in the beginning.My son enjoys piano lessons with Michelle. Originally, the plan was for my son to take a break from piano this summer, but he requested for summer lessons, so we signed him up for summer lessons.
